The WHY of my decision to be a real estate agent. In 1999 while working in public service, I decided to make a change that was bettered tailored to my family’s needs. The lure of sales always seems exciting and desirable for flexibility of time. Boy, have I learned that is not always the case. Yet, here I am 22 years later, doing what I love.
The initial draw was helping people BUY the best home for their needs and experience the joy of seeing my buyers happiness when they close on their new home. This has never changed or waivered in my goals of creating a business in real estate. I put so much time and effort into learning as much as I could about every aspect of buying and selling homes. My education has been invaluable in keeping the process as smooth and stress free for my clients.
As my education and time in real estate increased, I became knowledgeable and confident in my abilities to help people and keep the process from becoming overwhelming. It is important that I remember that a house is typically the biggest investment most people ever make, and that is why I strive to be prepared for any and all obstacles that may occur. The adrenaline of juggling the all moving parts of a real estate transaction and then making it to closing day is one of my favorite things to experience.
Being a Realtor® is a lot more work than I had expected, but is also more fulfilling than I ever imagined. The wonderful families I meet and get to know enhance my passion to continue my journey of “moving” to the next house. I hope to work with you someday too!
